Herge, the author of Tintin was born in 1907 in Brussels Belgium. His real name is Georges Remi Herge was his pen name The books where originally printed in French. His first Tintin book was Tintin in the land of the soviets. It was first published in 1926 he then published 22 more books. In 1983 Herge died during the writing of his final book. Tintin and Alf Art this book was never completed but was published incomplete.
